Hometown: San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic.
Education: Graduated high-school in 2010 from Princess Margaret Secondary School in St. John’s, Antigua. Earned a Technical Level Degree in Business Administration from Universidad Federico Henriques y Carvajal, Campus La Romana, Dominican Republic (2015).
Background: I have served in various capacities in the mission field from an early age. In 2012, I began serving as a translator and team lead for a missions organization in Juan Dolio, Dominican Republic—a role that officially called me into missionary work for four years. After taking a sabbatical in 2017, I co-founded Pathway Dominicana, a nonprofit missions organization based in the Dominican Republic. This organization bridges community needs with support and resources from local churches in the DR, as well as international partner churches and ministries in the US. In 2024, I completed a church planter training course with Anglican Associates Inc.
My Passion at Orchard Hills: I am driven by the vision of seeing every man, woman, and child reached by the gospel—irrespective of status, race, nation, or language. We are one church, one body.
Something not many people would know about me: As a child, I dreamed of becoming a flight attendant and traveling the world. I’m known to be a bit of a “grumpy old grampa” in the mornings!
Favorite Illustration of Biblical Truth: In my own journey, Isaiah 43:18-21 reminds me that it's okay to leave my past behind. Just like a caterpillar transforms in a cocoon before emerging as a beautiful butterEly, I see my own challenges and setbacks as a necessary part of becoming who God wants me to be. I’m learning to trust that every old story and every difEicult moment is making room for a new, more vibrant chapter in my life.
